Overview

Matrix Staffing Group is a SAP Recruiting firm with clients across North America. We are a preferred Vendor at SaskPower – Saskatchewan’s Power and Utilities provider; and they have asked us to provide them with an SAP FICO Functional Consultant to work with their team in Regina, SK.
Available: June 2023
Located: Regina, SK
Status: Contract – Initial 10 months with possible extension

Rate: All inclusive hourly rate
Required: Remote

Position

SaskPower is looking for an SAP FICO resource with experience in end to end implementations (ECC and S4 HANA), understanding of FI, CO and ReFX.  Interpreting the business requirements, building the solution in ECC, testing, training, implementation experience in analysis and testing of Fiori and custom mobile apps Experience in usage of BApi, BAdi, User Exits etc.

SaskPower has been running SAP for 21+ years. Current version is Suite on HANA. Experience in implementing S4 in the FICO area is desired.

Responsibilities

• Identify new business solutions and operational efficiencies, while providing recommendations which have a significant impact on SaskPower’s business operations and strategies
• Support and maintenance for existing SAP system in the Finance space.
• Documentation of RICEFW (reports, interfaces, conversions, enhancements, forms, and work-flow). Write Functional Specifications, and similar.
• Work closely within the ABAP Developer team to contribute to success of the larger SAP Operations. Collaborate and support the SAP Functional Resources. Support with simplification items for S4.

Qualifications

• Post secondary education in support of computer technology.
• FICO Certification, S4 certification desired.
• ITIL Certification (Foundation, Service Management).
• Both expertise and experience as an SAP FICO Functional : GL, AR, AP, VIM, Fixed Assets, ReFx, Treasury and Financial Reporting, CCA, IO and PCA
• Experience in support of SAP systems.
• Experience in implementation of S4 is desirable.
• Experience in analysis and testing of Fiori and custom mobile apps
• Experience with SAP FICO integration with other modules : Plant Maintenance, Material Management, Project Systems, Sales & Distribution, extensive use of Notifications, Human Capital Management, Success Factors. .

• Knowledge in FICA and ISU would be considered as an asset.
