OUR CLIENT in Calgary, AB is seeking a SAP CS – PM contract resource for delivery of a project, primarily around emissions, regulations and CONDITION Based Measuring points its features and functionality. This includes direction on best practices of the SAP solution and to support and promote the established Client standards.

The role would support newer technologies such as Mobility, Telemetry (IOT) and Data Analytics. The focus of this strategy will be to support our After Market and Asset ownership product lines in Canada, US, Latin America and International regions.

While there is a strong technical element of this role, it will also require the ability to work closely with key business stakeholders and Subject Matter Experts (SME’s) across the globe to understand business requirements and collaborate on implementation strategies.


• Provide SAP expertise in the use of both customer service and plant maintenance. This includes performing business analysis, SAP configuration and testing.
• Support SAP PM preventive maintenance planning structures for maintenance of fleet equipment.
• Support integrations with equipment telemetry (IOT) data with SAP PM modules for maintenance planning and reporting.
• Working with the SAP development and BI Reporting team as required to develop new capabilities, BI reports and PowerBI HANA views, datasets and reports.
• This includes the creation of functional specifications necessary to support Client’s development process.
• Facilitate business workshops to understand business requirements and “as is” and “to be” business process. This may include demonstration of SAP capabilities.
• Creation of documentation necessary to support the use of SAP. This includes business requirements, business process documents, test plans, technical / functional specifications, and user documentation.
• Provide testing for changes to SAP and facilitate end user testing as needed. This includes the creation of support documentation, entry of test data and the coordination of business and IT resources. This includes unit, integration, user acceptance and regression testing.
• The ability to build consensus and facilitate change in a diverse organization.
• Lead the development or enhancement of functional reporting capabilities and lead business requirements gathering sessions as needed.
• Facilitate translation of requirements into configuration and functional development specifications


• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Business Information Systems / Business Administration or similar equivalency
• At least 5 years’ experience implementing and supporting SAP Customer Service and Plant Maintenance in an Equipment Maintenance or Field Service organization.
• Experience in an Equipment Service or Field Service business role (non IT) would be beneficial.
• A structured and organized work style is essential.
• Strong communication and Interpersonal skills with the ability to understand complex business requirements. The ability to articulate complex technical requirements in meaningful business terms is also essential.
• Proven experience building business relationships and trusted partnerships.
• Willing to occasionally work off hours to accommodate team members in other time zones.
• Excellent communication skills (written and oral).
• Knowledge of Spanish would be beneficial.
