Position

The SAP Functional Support Specialist will report to the VP of Finance, offering Business Analysis, Configuration and Sustainment skills to SAP S4/Hana system.

Core modules include MM, SD, PP, QM, FICO (and WM, LE)

This role is a key contact to all company departments and works with the external SAP support centre. Provides sustainment, integration support and enhancements to modules MM, SD, PP, QM, FICO (and future, WM & LE modules).

Responsibilities

• Sustain, maintain, upgrade and enhance existing SAP operations.
• Design, configure and implement changes to SAP to impact and improve business functionality and future modules and functionality.
• Work in collaboration and liaison with the external partner to support SAP requirements.
• Provide SAP system support and guidance; ensuring daily operations are running smoothly, which includes troubleshooting, resolving issues, managing the support ticket queue, training, and process improvements.
• Provide oversight to all Master Data Maintenance in the SAP S/4 Hana system.
• Provide functional skills on new projects within various SAP modules.

• Develop and refine on-going support processes as they pertain to SAP S/4 HANA while remaining flexible and prepared to learn and support all areas of the business as required over time.
• Be the technical support for all the business that use SAP in daily activities.
• Guard and support security standard for all systems.

Qualifications

• A minimum seven (7) years of working experience in SAP
• Completion of at least 3 full lifecycle SAP implementation/upgrade projects
• Bachelor’s degree or technical diploma in Computer Science or Engineering, or equivalent
• SAP relevant certificate, an asset
• Possess strong knowledge of SAP Supply Chain functionalities and integrations
o ideally hands on experience with at least 3 of the following SAP modules:
 PP, MM, QM, SD, FICO, WM
• Manufacturing experience strongly preferred.
• Excellent support and sustainment, trouble shooting and problem solving skills.
• Hands-on experience in all aspects of SAP support: triage, requirements gathering, ticketing, solution analysis, interaction with end users.
• Experience in supporting/leading an SAP center of competency
• Able to work under pressure in a dynamic, technical complex environment.
• Strong coordination, time management and planning skills.
• Excellent communication skills for professional environment, written and spoken
