Matrix Staffing Group is a SAP Recruiting firm with clients across North America. Rate: All-Inclusive Hourly Rate

Position

Our Client has a requirement for a Senior Project Manager to work with a project team within their Information Technology Services department to provide senior project management guidance and oversight for the implementation and deployment of an Unclaimed Property Technical solution.

Responsibilities

The Resource will be responsible for the following activities and deliverables:
• Under the direction of the Program Manager, oversee all project management aspects of the planning and implementation of the IT solution to meet business requirements in a secure manner
• Develop program/project charters, program/project plans, risk register and stakeholder management
• Produce other project management related deliverables as required by the project team (governance model, implementation plan, transition approach and plan, etc.)
• Work collaboratively with vendors and suppliers to ensure delivery of a large project within a joint client/vendor governance structure
• Achieve program/project objectives by assigning resources and ensuring the collaboration of other teams
• Oversee program/project change requests
• Develop and maintain program/project status dashboard
• Report progress regularly to senior management and sponsors
• Collaborate with other project managers and project controllers to review resource assignments as well as project financials
• Work with existing project team to enable and support the initiative (business analyst, change management, communications, etc.)
• Collaborate with stakeholders and business partners to ensure understanding of client needs and support effective resolution of client inquiries and concerns
• Provide advice and guidance to others on matters relating to project management practices and methodologies
• Other related activities and deliverables as required

Qualifications

• University degree or College Diploma in computer science, engineering, or business administration
• PMP certification
• A minimum of ten (10) years of demonstrated experience in the field of IT
• A minimum of five (5) years of demonstrated experience as a Senior Project Manager
• Demonstrated experience applying PMBOK principles and methodology in project management
• Demonstrated ability to translate business needs into application solutions
• Demonstrated experience in writing clear, concise documents for a technical audience
• Demonstrated experience in facilitation and problem resolution
• SCRUM Master Certification
• Demonstrated experience in coaching project teams of project management methodologies and approach
• Demonstrated experience in establishing effective and collaborative working relationships with key stakeholders
